Chanel’s Creative Director Virginie Viard, who filled the very large yet stylish shoes of Karl Lagerfeld this February, chose the perfect decor to display Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection in The Grand Palais.
When I first went to Paris, I was obsessed with the architecture. The slanted roofs, the tiny chimneys, the window panes, skylights, and the gray and beige colors were so dreamy and gloomy. I would draw the rooftops over and over after I left, I loved them so much. However, I never once thought of well dressed women walking across those rooftops, but Viard did!
