Hey Hey, My My: Vintage Dudes With Style

As a female, I am inspired by both women and men when it comes to clothing, but I have to say that most of my style icons are men.

Here are some of my favorite dudes with style from back in the day:

neil 1
Neil Young: Equal parts folk, rock, and grunge, Neil’s essentials often included good denim, suede, cool t-shirts and a solid flannel. This look is timeless and can be worn by anyone today.
Keith Richards: A true bohemian rocker that was never afraid to try something new. Keith killed the jewelry game, wore effeminate clothing and always oozed a sexual masculinity.

Jimmy Page: Two words – Hair and Embroidery. Page always showed up on stage with a mix of fabrics that usually included an embroidery stitched jacket and pants. Paired with his dark and wild mane, Page always looked equal parts mysterious and magical.

And last but certainly not least, my favorite of all time, Jim Morrison:

Jim Morrison: Leather, conch belts, beaded necklaces, shearling coats, suede boots and long chocolate locks of hair – need I say more?

Oh, and ATTITUDE:
